of Greater Tuscaloosa The League of Women Voters of Greater Tuscaloosa has monthly luncheon meetings the first Tuesday of the months with speakers on a variety of current topics. Luncheons meet at The University Club in downtown Tuscaloosa, starting at noon. We also have an after-work unit which meets at 5:00 PM the third Thursday of each month during the school year in the conference room of the United Way building, located on 6th Street in downtown Tuscaloosa. Our current topic of study is planning and zoning in the greater Tuscaloosa and Northport areas. The League of Women Voters of Greater Tuscaloosa also sponsors regular voter service events during the year and in election season. Members of the public are welcome at any of these events.
