2010 VOTER GUIDE About This Voter GuideThis 2010 Voter Guide for Mobile County Candidates for Alabama State Legislature is published by the League of Women Voters of Mobile. It provides information about the candidates running for election to the Alabama State Legislature - the Senate and the House of Representatives - as supplied by the candidates. If a candidate has no opposition within the party, his or her name will not appear on the June 1 Primary Election ballot; it will appear on the November 2 General Election ballot only. The League of Women Voters of Mobile posed seven important, identical questions to each candidate for the Senate and House. Candidates were instructed to keep their responses brief, no more than 200 words. Any longer responses have been allowed to run to the end of a reasonable-length full sentence following the 200 word mark. “No Response” is noted for candidates who did not respond to the questionnaire. All responses have been published verbatim with no edits or changes. Links from this voter guide to candidate web sites are included for the convenience of the visitor.
