Volunteers needed to assess polling place accessibility

Alabama Disabilities Advocacy Program (ADAP) is looking for volunteers to fill out a short, simple questionnaire when they go to vote on in the Primary Election on March 1, 2016. This is part of the Protection and Advocacy for Voter Accessibility program which "seeks to ensure all voters have fair and equal access to the voting process." The survey is just 18 yes/no questions, so responding is a snap. The survey can be filled out while at the polls (no extra trip). If issues are found on March 1, they can be noted and hopefully fixed before the general election on November 8. Many volunteers across Alabama are needed, so please lend a hand!

Will you help?

Click to send an email message to let us know that you will help ADAP protect voting access for persons with disabilities by filling out the questionnaire for your polling place on March 1, 2016.

THANK YOU!

This program is endorsed by the League of Women Voters of Alabama. All voting citizens are welcome as volunteers and do not have to be a member of the LWV.
