On November 6, 2012, Alabama voters will also cast their vote on a wide variety of proposed amendments to the Alabama Constitution. The League has developed explanation of 10 of the statewide amendments, describing what will happen if a given amendment passes or it fails the referendum. Voters are invited to consider the consequences and make their own informed decisions when they go to the polls on Nov. 6. This is an unbiased analysis sponsored by the League of Women Voters Education Fund.
