    Speaker & Facilitator Mona N. Fouad, MD, MPH, Professor in the UAB Division of Preventive Medicine, Director of the UAB Minority Health and Research Center, and a Scientist in the Comprehensive Cancer Center, the Center for Aging, the Center for Health Promotion, and the Clinical Nutrition Research Center at UAB.  She is involved in several minority-specific research studies. Dr. Fouad will discuss the state of Health Care in Alabama.

Directions to the Council Site

From Hwy 280 and I 459 East

Go west on Hwy 280 to the Zoo-Gardens exit.  At the first light, turn left onto Cahaba Road.
The Zoo will be a left turn off Cahaba Road at approx. 0.2 miles.

From I 65

If coming from the south, take I 459 East to Hwy 280.  Then follow above directions.
If coming from the north, take I65 south to I 20/59 through downtown to Hwy 280 East.
Stay in the right lane to exit at Mountain Brook.  Follow above directions from there.
